The mission of Solutions of Change is to assist underserved families and communities by providing access to culturally responsive mental health and supportive services.
Vision
The vision of Solutions of Change is to equip underserved populations through all stages of life to identify, learn, and apply positive solutions to assist in developing mental wellness and transformative life skills.
Solutions of Change is a 501c3 non-profit organization providing therapy, counseling, and family support services to members of the community struggling with behavioral, mental, and/or emotional health challenges. We gladly service all members of the local and state community with a central focus on those who are uninsured or underinsured, including those who are undocumented. Solutions of Change also provides informational workshops and seminars to local organizations in an effort to bring awareness to the multifaceted nature of mental wellbeing.
Solutions of Change was created to positively impact the mental health landscape by providing free and low-cost individual, group, and family therapy/counseling and crisis intervention services. We serve our mission of assisting the community in navigating life’s challenges through education, creative therapy, mentorship, and holistic support.
Navigating COVID-19
Amidst the rise in reports of mental health crisis and family violence related to the COVID-19 pandemic, Solutions of Change immediately responded to help mitigate these problems by offering virtual and in-person counseling and crisis support.
To aid in the recovery from the challenges of living through a global pandemic, Solutions of Change will continue to provide crisis intervention, outreach, education, advocacy, and therapy services. With a special emphasis on those diagnosed with Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED), Serious Mental Illness (SMI), and/or those experiencing functional impairment symptoms causing disruption to major life activities as a result of COVID-19.
